It’s a phrase that everyone who’s ever been in a relationship has heard from their significant other at some point during their time together. “What did you do.” And it turns out that Beth Phoenix and husband Edge are no different.

After the March 26th edition of SmackDown descended into chaos amongst a hail of flying fists and steel chairs, Edge’s wife took to Twitter to give her reaction, one which was undoubtedly shared by the millions of viewers watching around the world.

“What did you do.”

2021 Royal Rumble winner Edge walked out of WWE Fastlane steel chair in hand, proud of his night’s work after laying waste to both Daniel Bryan and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

So when Daniel Bryan stood in the ring on SmackDown saying that he deserved to have a shot at the Universal Title at WrestleMania, The Rated R Superstar was none to pleased. Bryan suggested that Reigns and The Ultimate Opportunist face off on night one of WrestleMania, while he faces the winner on night two. Edge told Bryan that he didn’t deserve a match and beat him down with a steel chair once again.

The night’s closing segment saw Adam Pearce try and find a solution to the madness by announcing a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. And rather unsurprisingly, the situation exploded immediately. Edge and Bryan brawled, Roman Reigns got involved, Edge hit Reigns and Jey Uso with spears, before setting up a conchairto on Bryan.

As WWE officials tried to control Edge, clearly incensed, he started taking out the officials left and right with the chair. This allowed Bryan to escape the ring, with the curtain coming down on the show as Edge sat on his beloved steel chair in the middle of the ring.

Edge, what did you do?
