Former TNA champion Tessa Blanchard has suffered a major injury.
On May 23rd, 2025, at Under Siege 2025, Blanchard took on Arianna Grace and defeated her in a short yet interesting match. However, at several points throughout the match, both women took several stiff bumps. Now, just a few days after the event, reports have emerged about Blanchard suffering an injury.
As per Fightful Select, Blanchard did not compete on Sunday’s Impact tapings due to a suspected concussion. It has to be noted that Blanchard was concussed during her match against Grace, but either way proceeded to finish it.
The former Knockout’s Champion was expected to work the tapings on Saturday before the injury, and a storyline had to be created to explain her absence. There are no confirmations about the severity of her injury or her return date.
We at ITR Wrestling shall provide more updates on her injury as we hear more. For now, we would like to extend our best wishes for her safe and steady recovery.
WWE Star Once Called TNA Star Tessa Blanchard A “Racist Bully”
Earlier this year, responding to a fan on social media, former women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green shared her honest thoughts on Tessa Blanchard. The former TNA World Champion carries a reputation for being difficult to work with and was also once accused of racism.
“This is giving me the ick… you thinking defending a racist bully is cool. Someone tell them, lol”
While Green was still not fond of Blanchard, Booker T believes fans should “get off all the hate” on Tessa Blanchard.
