Best Wishes To Chad Gable As Abrupt WWE Hiatus Begins

Chad Gable with a microphone on WWE Raw

All the best to Chad Gable after a sudden WWE hiatus.

Chad Gable was one of the superstars who have been heavily featured on RAW recently. Not only has he served as American Made’s leader, but also the masked luchador El Grande Americano, whom he denies is him. Unfortunately, it seems like he won’t be appearing for a while after a recent reported injury.

On June 23, Chad’s longtime rival Penta attacked him backstage in an episode of WWE RAW. As per PWInsider Elite, this was a way to write off Gable from television due to an injury. The site added that he is scheduled for surgery in early July. The exact nature of his injury and timeline of return remain unknown.

The American Made founder has been active on the Stamford-based promotion and beyond. As Chad Gable, he competed at the recent AAA and WWE Worlds Collide joint event against El Hijo del Vikingo. As El Grande Americano, he was at Money in the Bank, and he has been the Speed Champion since May this year.

We at ITR Wrestling wish Chad Gable a speedy recovery.

Big E Is Certain Chad Gable And El Grande Americano Are The Same

Despite the obvious similarities between Americano and Gable, the latter continues to deny that he is the luchador. However, like many fans, Big E is certain Chad is indeed El Grande after knowing the superstar for a long time.

On a past RAW Recap, the former WWE Champion said he knows Chad’s body and shared many locker rooms and squared circles throughout the years. Big E urged to stop the charade and just unmask the luchador.

“Let’s not go down this route. I know Chad Gable’s body. I’ve seen that man in many locker rooms and many wrestling rings. I could pick that body out of a lineup of 1,000 men, and don’t make it weird, okay? Don’t make it weird. I know who that is. I know who that is and don’t insult my intelligence by telling me it’s anyone other than Chad Gable. Let’s stop this whole charade. Let’s take this man out the mask. I know who you are. Let’s end this, all of it. Every little bit of it. Let’s kill it right now. Let’s be done with it, okay?”

It will be interesting to see what is next for Chad Gable in the Stamford-based promotion.
