Britt Baker may be one of the newest WWE transfers from AEW.
Britt Baker was last seen on AEW television on the November 13 episode of Dynamite, where she defeated Penelope Ford. She has been on hiatus since, with reports now circulating that she is looking for ways to drop her contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion. With this in mind, fans might likely see her in WWE shortly, though the when and where remain hanging.
Interestingly, among the reports is that AEW is not aiming to let go of Britt Baker before WWE Evolution, the latter’s upcoming all-women’s premium live event next week. However, plans can always change in the world of professional wrestling.
Following the reports, let’s explore some ways the former AEW Women’s Champion can join WWE.
#5. Blake Monroe Might Need Some Help At Evolution
Blake Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May in AEW, is NXT’s newest addition to the roster and is quickly making a name for herself. At the upcoming Evolution premium live event, she is set to battle Jacy Jayne for the brand’s Women’s Championship.
Although she found an alliance with Jordynne Grace, their numbers might not be enough if the champion brings Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx. Not only that, but Grace and Blake will be in action the day before in a tag team match at the Great American Bash. Due to all this, Monroe might need some people by her side against the trio, in which Britt Baker can fill up.
#4. Surprise Entrant At WWE’s Battle Royal at Evolution

One of the matches set for WWE Evolution is a Battle Royal to determine who will have a chance at the women’s championship at Clash in Paris. Interestingly, a surprise entrant can always be present in this type of match.
If Britt’s AEW exit happens soon, then it’s unlikely the Stamford-based promotion will wait until next year’s Battle Royal for her to debut. As a result, she can be among the names that will be present for the Battle Royal. Although it’s unlikely for her to win, her participation in the match can help her face off and test the waters with other stars.
#3. Nikki Bella Might Be Free For The Next Few Months
Nikki Bella recently returned to RAW and seemed to set up a feud against Liv Morgan, possibly leading to a tag team match at Evolution for the Women’s Tag Team titles with a return from The Bella Twins. However, The Miracle Kid sustained an injury, rendering her out of action for a while.
Nikki not being able to have a match at Evolution is unfortunate. However, WWE can instead have Bella in a bigger program en route to SummerSlam. The Hall of Famer can demand a match, and after being told that everybody is booked for next month’s PLE, she can hold an open challenge instead at the PLE, which Britt Baker can answer.
#2. Britt Baker Previously Named Charlotte Flair As Her Dream Opponent

Baker doesn’t need much introduction if she transfers to the Stamford-based promotion. She has held several championships, feuded with many well-known names, and is already an established name. One star who can rival this is none other than Charlotte Flair.
The Queen has changed the trajectory of women’s wrestling since she joined. She accomplished several championships, made history by being one of the first women who headline WrestleMania, and much more. Both stars have been compared several times in the past, and someone that Britt wants to face, which would make an interesting feud.
#1. Nia Jax And Britt Baker Have A History In WWE
Many may have forgotten that in 2016, Nia Jax debuted in the Stamford-based promotion by facing a “local competitor,” which years later became the first female wrestler AEW signed. It’s safe to say that both women have changed since that encounter, especially Britt Baker.
Nia Jax has been involved with the Women’s Championship picture for a while, let alone against Tiffany Stratton. The Irresistible Force can use some fresh faces and storylines away from the gold, which Britt Baker can certainly fill up.
