WWE has confirmed that British sensation, Ben Carter, will make his long awaited NXT UK debut on January 7.
Carter, who was subject of a bidding war between WWE and AEW in the Autumn, will make his official debut for the black and red brand as a guest of Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions talk show which to date has had only one outing on NXT television.
While it’s unknown what WWE’s plans are for Ben Carter, that the last Supernova Sessions ended in a match between a returning Tyler Bate and A-Kid potentially points to Carter vs. Dar for the Brit’s first feud.
The star took to social media to comment on his NXT UK debut, stating simply:
“Next week I make my @WWE debut…what a life. @NXTUK”

Ben Carter signed for WWE in October 2020 after being the focal point for both WWE and All Elite Wrestling. He first came to the attention of the wrestling giants following sterling efforts for IMPACT Wrestling, Gamer Changer Wrestling and most notably AEW on their Dynamite and Dark shows.
However, any interest in him was kept under wraps for several weeks while the star recovered from COVID-19 before WWE broke the news two weeks ago with a video package announcing his arrival.
Inside the Ropes will have live coverage of NXT UK on January 6.
