Bella Twins Reportedly Set For WWE In-Ring Return

The Bella Twins are reportedly set for a return to in-ring competition later in the year following their impending induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Brie and Nikki Bella have confirmed that they will be making the customary Hall Of Fame appearance at WrestleMania. The sisters are due to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the delayed Class of 2020.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio noted that the Bella twins are also set for a return to action in 2021.

Meltzer commented:

“They’re coming back too. They’re coming back to wrestle pretty soon. I don’t know exactly when but they’re planning on coming back, I think it was in the fall.”

The Bellas had previously announced their retirement from wrestling on their Total Bellas TV show. Brie made her announcement first followed by sister Nikki on the season finale that aired in March 2019.

Brie Bella’s last match was on the 8th October 2018 episode of Monday Night Raw. Bella teamed with sister Nikki and Ronda Rousey in a six-woman tag team match. The trio defeated The Riott Squad of Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Ruby Riott.

Nikki’s last televised match came a few weeks after at the groundbreaking Evolution pay-per-view. The women’s only event was headlined by Nikki Bella challenging Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship. Rousey caused Bella to submit by locking in her armbar submission to retain the title.

The Bella twins will be joined in the Class of 2020 by the nWo, The British Bulldog, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, and John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield. Batista was originally meant to be part of this class but cannot make the event due to its rescheduling.
