Despite suffering a severe shoulder injury only days earlier, Becky Lynch is back in the gym and preparing her comeback.
After a brutal battle with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch arrived on Raw with her arm in a sling.
During an emotional promo which opened the show, the star returned to her former status as a fan favourite and paid tribute to her long-time rival Belair. Unfortunately for fans, The Man also confirmed that she separated her shoulder during her match with the EST, which means that she will be out of action for a number of months as she recovers.
Incredibly, just four days after sustaining the injury, Lynch is already back in the gym and focused on her return.
In a post on social media, Lynch shared a photo of herself working out with the caption “We don’t stop working. We simply adjust the work.”

The aftermath of the Raw Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam also saw the shock returns of Bayley, Io Shirai (now known as IYO SKY) and Dakota Kai.
While Bayley had been out of action through injury for more than a year, it was the returns of Shirai and Dakota Kai that got fans talking. While it had been suggested that Shirai had been on her way out of the company, Kai was actually released back in April.
Reflecting on her surprise comeback, Kai said that she got the call to appear at SummerSlam at the last minute.
