Becky Lynch Teases WWE Return

Becky Lynch Teases WWE Return

Becky Lynch has made it clear that she is not done with WWE.

In a year where many top stars have secured their futures in respective companies, a select few have chosen to become free agents and explore other opportunities. While wrestlers such as Bobby Lashley, Ricochet and Stephanie Vaquer have all made the jump to rival promotions, Lynch has not appeared on TV in a wrestling capacity for nearly 6 months as she has focused more on looking after her daughter.

Appearing at the Vulture Festival in Hollywood on November 17th, the former Women’s Champion appeared live to discuss her career and her bestselling autobiography.

Naturally, Lynch was asked about her status in the professional wrestling world and if a return could happen. According to one fan in attendance for the interview, Lynch stated that the match against Liv Morgan was not the way she intended her in-ring career to end:

“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik Mysterio slamming a door in my face that’s not gonna happen”

Lynch also added that at this time she has a lot going on and is happy with what she is doing, indicating that a return may not be happening anytime soon. Lynch lost a steel cage match to Liv Morgan at the end of May after losing the Women’s World Championship to Morgan a few days prior in Saudi Arabia. On both occasions, Dominik Mysterio provided an assist.

Backstage News On Becky Lynch Return

Although Lynch has claimed that she wouldn’t be returning to professional wrestling anytime soon, backstage updates have told a different story. According to a recent report, Becky Lynch is expected to be back in time for a major WWE show.

While Lynch’s return looks to be an inevitability, one former WWE star is not as hopeful.
