Becky Lynch is looking to enter the Elimination Chamber for the first time in February.
2024 got off to an inauspicious start for Lynch on the Day 1 edition of Raw. Big Time Becks finally took on Nia Jax in singles competition for the first time on the show. However, rather than get the win she has been hoping for since Jax broke her nose back in November 2018, Lynch was felled by a big uppercut followed by an Annihilator splash to be handed her first loss of the year.
Despite the setback, The Man is keen to get back to the title. The star told the Casual Podcast with Brad Tate that she wants to main event WrestleMania again, and teased that she’ll go through her first-ever Elimination Chamber match to get there.
“There is a big ol premium live event coming up, but first there is Elimination Chamber. Did you know that I’ve never been in Elimination Chamber? I’ve been in many matches, nearly all of the types of matches one could do in a wrestling ring, but I’ve not been in Elimination Chamber.
“So, I’m looking at that and thinking maybe it’s time Becky Lynch makes her debut in an Elimination Chamber match, maybe she wins, and maybe she goes on to main event WrestleMania once again.”
Becky Lynch Wants To Face Rhea Ripley At WrestleMania 40
In a previous interview, Becky Lynch revealed that her dream match at WrestleMania 40 would see her take on Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship.
The star went on to say she wants to main event shows with that title and is “sick of” Ripley being seen accompanying The Judgment Day during main events but not being the one defending her title in the ring.
