Becky Lynch Shows Off Bloody Aftermath Of WWE Night Of Champions Loss

Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus at WWE Battleground

At WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia Becky Lynch took on Trish Stratus in a multi-generational grudge match.

The match was the first time the two faced each other since the Hall of Famer blindsided Lynch in a rage of jealousy after feeling overshadowed by the former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Following the sneak attack Lynch called out Stratus for a match at the PLE, but once she got her attacker in the ring, things didn’t go the way the Man wanted.

After a hard-fought back-and-forth battle, Stratus gained the upper hand with help from former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark. The Monday Night Raw newcomer emerged from under the ring before hitting Lynch with the Z360 and throwing her back into the ring allowing Stratus to execute Stratusfaction for the shock victory.

The victory marked the first time Stratus had won in singles action for 17 years. Before this, her last one-on-one win saw her defeat Lita to capture the Women’s Championship for the seventh time at Unforgiven in 2006.

As the two assailants made their exit up the ramp cameras showed a bloodied Lynch visibly irate at what had just occurred.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

The show also saw several other shocking results. In the opening match of the night, Seth Rollins beat AJ Styles to become the brand new Heavyweight Champion and in the biggest surprise of the night Asuka defeated Bianca Belair to win the Raw Women’s Championship ending her history-making title run in the process.
