Becky Lynch Delivers Warning To Ronda Rousey – “Don’t Come Back”

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey trade insults

Becky Lynch has a very simple message for former UFC star and Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey should she consider getting back in the ring. “Don’t.”

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey have a rivalry which stretches all the way back to 2018. During the period heading into that year’s Survivor Series, Lynch was SmackDown Women’s Champion while Rousey held the gold on Raw.

The plan was to have the two women meet in a huge inter-promotional match at Survivor Series to determine the real top woman in WWE. However, best laid plans have a tendency to go awry, and so it was the case here. Lynch led an invasion of Raw by SmackDown’s women’s roster only to receive a broken nose and a concussion in the process at the hands of Nia Jax. This meant that the star was pulled from her showdown against the former UFC Champion.

The two eventually met in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in a Triple Threat Match which also included Charlotte Flair. In the match, Lynch pinned Rousey to walk out with the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Titles. The bout was also Rousey’s last in WWE.

Since the WrestleMania clash both women have taken time away from the ring to have children. Lynch gave birth to her daughter Roux in December, while Rousey welcomed La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne in September.

Now that Lynch is back in WWE and back in possession of the SmackDown Women’s Title she was asked by TMZ Sports whether she had any advice for Rousey. Her answer was simple, don’t come back.

“Don’t [come back], cause I’m still on top, Ronda, you won’t like it. That’s my advice.”

Lynch went on to describe her return as “amazing,” commenting that her baby is on the road with her.

“It’s been crazy, It went from zero to 100 real quick. Coming back, and coming back on top after not wrestling for a year and a half. It’s been wild, but it’s been amazing. And, my baby comes along everywhere with me.”

Becky Lynch is currently preparing to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship at Crown Jewel against both Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.
