After weeks of speculation, Becky Lynch has finally returned to WWE and she’s heading to Survivor Series!
Ahead of the November 25th episode of Friday Night SmackDown it was announced that Bianca Belair would be heading to the show to announce the fifth member of her team for Survivor Series WarGames. It had already been confirmed that Belair will be teaming with Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Mia Yim to take on Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley.
Becky Lynch Returns
Speculation had been running wild in the lead up to the show about the mystery participant with everyone from Sasha Banks, Aliyah, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair and more mentioned in relation to the spot. However, fans weren’t kept waiting for long.
Belair and her squad opened the show by coming to meet their rivals in the ring. Stopping at the bottom of the ramp, the Raw Women’s Champion said that she hadn’t come alone. Cue Becky Lynch’s music and a huge reaction from the live crowd.
After sauntering to the ring Lynch quickly got in the face of Bayley, throwing her to the curb with a Bex-Ploder Suplex. This led to a stare down between Lynch and Rhea Ripley, but the Judgment Day star decided to dip out of the ring before things escalated.
Becky Lynch hadn’t been seen on WWE television since being attacked by Damage CTRL on the August 1st edition of Monday Night Raw. The beatdown served as a storyline way to write the star off television after she suffered a shoulder injury just two days before at SummerSlam.
At the summer spectacular Lynch was defeated by Bianca Belair as she attempted to reclaim the Raw Women’s Title. After the final bell, Lynch and Belair met in a show of respect before being confronted by a returning Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.
