Becky Lynch Responds To Name Drop By Edge On SmackDown

Becky Lynch has responded to Edge after the Hall of Famer dropped her name during his promo taking aim at long-time rival Seth Rollins.

The October 15th Supersized SmackDown opened with Edge cutting a promo in the ring addressing his upcoming Hell In Clash clash with Seth Rollins.

Edge conceded that he and Rollins are a lot a like saying he should have seen Rollins’ recent invasion of his home coming. Especially as he had slapped John Cena’s father during a feud many years ago. The Hall of Famer explained that he underestimated Rollins, the same way that Rollins had underestimated him at SummerSlam.

The Rated R Superstar then suggested that he could go and break into Rollins’ home, saying he might even have a chance encounter with Becks. “Heaven knows, we have some history, but I’m not going to do that.”

Responding after the show, Becky Lynch took to Twitter to share a photo of her staring down Edge in 2018.

On the show, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch had problems of her own. Ahead of her huge clash Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair at Crown Jewel, Lynch met Banks in singles action.

During the bout the two women made absolutely no attempt to hold anything back and conserve their energy for October 21st. Often showing no regard their own bodies the two women fought tooth and nail for supremacy.

As the match rattled towards its conclusion, Sasha Banks ducked a clothesline on the outside meaning that Lynch laid out Bianca Belair who was on commentary. After she composed herself, Belair then provided the distraction via her hair, leaving the way open for Banks to hit the Backstabber and pick up the win.
