Becky Lynch made her return to WWE Raw on May 8th much to the annoyance of Trish Stratus.
The Man had been absent from the red brand since April 10th when she was attacked by the WWE Hall of Famer. The beatdown came after the pair had lost the SmackDown Women’s Titles to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and signaled Stratus’ first heel turn since 2005.
On Raw, Stratus was handing out missing posters for Lynch and even had one emblazoned onto her own t-shirt. During a promo in which she trolled the crowd with Lynch’s music, took jabs at her daughter, and put over her own greatness, Stratus was finally interrupted by the former Raw Women’s Champion.
Lynch then smashed Stratus in the face before sending her running back up the ramp. A fired-up Lynch grabbed a microphone and said that if Stratus needed to find her, she was right there.
However, it seems that Lynch was less than impressed with the abrupt ending of the segment. The star has now shared footage of her arriving backstage demanding to know who cut her music off. Hilariously the crew gave up the culprit in double-quick time and Lynch decked him in the face–kind of.
Big Night For Becky Lynch’s Household
As well as Lynch returning to get vengeance on her rival, the May 8th edition of Raw was also a big night for her husband Seth Rollins. The Visionary won a Triple Threat Match against Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura before overcoming Finn Balor to advance to the finals of the World Heavyweight Title Tournament.
Rollins will face the winner of the SmackDown bracket at Night of Champions as he bids to become World Heavyweight Champion.
