Becky Lynch Discusses Her “Pure Hatred” Of Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch Exclusive 2

Ahead of WrestleMania 38, Becky Lynch has voiced her controversial opinion of fellow Four Horsewomen member, Charlotte Flair.

WrestleMania 38 will be a monumental weekend for WWE’s women’s division, with both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship clashes being featured attractions. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will defend their respective championships against Bianca Belair and 2022 women’s Royal Rumble winner, Ronda Rousey.

Before she faces Bianca in a SummerSlam 2021 rematch, however, Becky Lynch took the time to discuss what she really thinks of Charlotte Flair in a new interview with talkSPORT and Inside The Ropes’ Alex McCarthy:

“No. I don’t know. I think we’re always going to be synonymous with each other’s careers. But I don’t like the way she does things. I don’t like the way she does business and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t like me either.”

Continuing, Becky Lynch elaborated on her feelings towards Charlotte Flair:

“Well, yeah. Because, you know, you talk about years of friendship and coming up together and having a similar dream and a similar vision. And there’s so much love. And you’ve been through so much and you’ve survived things together, like, I mean, literally survived things together.

And so to go from that to then just pure hatred and wanting to tear each other apart, it’s sad. It’s really sad when you see a friendship dissolve like that in a manner like that, especially when it doesn’t feel necessary, you know. So yeah, there was a lot of emotion involved.”

Alongside Sasha Banks and Bayley, both Becky and Charlotte are part of WWE’s Four Horsewomen, opposing the original Four Horsewomen quartet of Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke. ‘Big Time Becks’ and ‘The Queen’ have, as a result, often been locked at the hip throughout their WWE careers.

Together, they’ve contested nine televised singles matches together, most recently at the 2021 Survivor Series pay-per-view. There, Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair to earn a point for the red brand. Furthermore, the duo, alongside Ronda Rousey, contested WrestleMania’s inaugural women’s main event at WrestleMania 35.
