Eddie Kingston Out Of Action For A Year With Major Injury

Eddie Kingston is expected to be out of action for an entire year due to a recent major injury.
PWInsider reports that Kingston is set to undergo surgery to repair tears to his ACL and meniscus which he suffered at NJPW Strong Resurgence earlier this month. While taking a brainbuster to the outside through a table, his leg collided with the ringside barricade, causing not only two tears in his knee but also a fracture in his leg as well.
Before the surgery, the former AEW Continental Champion will be undergoing physical therapy to heal the fracture in his leg. His surgery is currently set for July 8th and he has been advised that he will be recovering for at least 10 months afterwards. Therefore, his recovery timeline would place a return sometime within May 2025.
