The Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line on WrestleMania Saturday as Becky Lynch defends her crown against Bianca Belair.
Bianca Belair earned her shot at the Raw Women’s Champion by winning the gruelling Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. The EST of WWE managed to see off Nikki A.S.H, Rhea Ripley, Doudrop, Liv Morgan, and Alexa Bliss to claim the match with the woman who dethroned her as champion at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch.
Lynch made her grand return to WWE at SummerSlam in 2021 and in her first match back defeated Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a matter of seconds. Following the WWE Draft in October and an infamous title exchange with Charlotte Flair, Lynch once again sat atop the red brand of WWE as Raw Women’s Champion.
With WrestleMania 38 being touted by WWE as The Most Stupendous Two Night WrestleMania In History, the company has confirmed that night one of the event has got a whole lot bigger as that is when Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch will clash one on one.
This may come as a surprise to some who might have expected the Raw Women’s Title to be decided on night 2 of the event given WWE has already confirmed that Ronda Rousey will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the main event of WrestleMania Saturday.
The main event of WrestleMania Sunday has also been announced with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar clashing in their winner take all title unification bout with both the WWE and Universal Championships on the line.
