Bayley has revealed on social media the opponent that she wants to face in what would surely be a dream match – Rey Mysterio.
Taking to Twitter while Mysterio was in action on Friday Night SmackDown, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion was very clear in her wish, writing:
“I want to wrestle @reymysterio”
Rey Mysterio was teaming with his son Dominik against The Alpha Academy of Chad Gable and Otis. Gable and Otis would defeat the father and son team. Otis, for the second week in a row, would hit Rey with a big splash.
WWE Producer Shane ‘Hurricane’ Helms asked if he could be part of any potential future matchup, replying to Bayley with the question:
“Can I produce?”

Bayley is the host of her own segment on Friday Night SmackDown – Ding Dong Hello! Although she and the segment were absent from the last episode of SmackDown.
WWE has not featured much intergender wrestling in recent years although it is still prevalent in other companies. Chyna was a trailblazer in the late nineties as she competed successfully against men, capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the process.
In 2017, Becky Lynch defeated James Ellsworth in the company’s first intergender match in years. Since then Nia Jax appeared in the men’s Royal Rumble match in 2019. Jax would not last long in the contest suffering a superkick from Dolph Ziggler before an RKO from Randy Orton. Interestingly Jax was also hit with Mysterio’s 619 before Rey eliminated her from the match.
