Bayley Reflects On Notable WWE Anniversary

Bayley holding up WWE Women's Championship

Bayley has looked back on an important moment in her WWE career.

In 2019, Bayley went through a major transformation when she abandoned her lovable hugger character to become the Role Model. She solidified her heel turn on October 11th that year on SmackDown, debuting a new look with her once-trademark ponytail cut off and attacking the inflatable tube men she had used as her “Bayley Buddies” for years.

On the fifth anniversary of the incident, Baley has taken to social media to thank her fans.

With her recent return to being a fan favourite, Bayley has addressed the possibility of the inflatable tube men coming back. While their return to her entrance unlikely, the star is open to having some other blow-up objects.

Major Bayley NXT Match Had ‘Zero Prep’

Mercedes Mone has revealed that there was no prep for her match against Bayley at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn. The match has gone down as a classic and saw Bayley finally defeating Mone for the NXT Women’s Championship.

According to Mone, there just wasn’t enough time in her schedule to lay out the match properly, with the pair only getting five minutes ahead of the bout where Mone brought up a particular spot she wanted to do. The lack of time worked out well for The CEO as she didn’t want to practice the move beforehand in case she was told she wasn’t allowed to do it on the night.
