Bayley had a message for Cora Jade after she threw her NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship belt in the trash on NXT 2.0.
On the July 12th episode of NXT 2.0 Cora Jade shocked the world by turning on her tag team partner Roxanne Perez. To further complicate the situation, Perez and Jade had only won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles the week before.
Jade not only turned her back on her partner, but attacked her as well, meaning that by the time the most recent edition of the show rolled around, fans were expecting an explanation.
The star came to the ring and began by saying that she was slated as NXT’s next breakout star until Roxanne Perez came into the promotion, causing everyone to forget about her and focus on her friend instead.
Furthermore, she was angry with Roxanne for challenging Mandy Rose just one week after the two became NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Jade said that she wanted to make those titles the most important prize in NXT, but that Perez showed no respect when she wanted to move onto being NXT Women’s Champion and hog all the attention for herself.
Because Perez showed that she didn’t care about their tag belts, Cora Jade said the title meant nothing to her anymore, and she threw her belt in a trash can at ringside.
After watching the action, Bayley didn’t seem too impressed on social media. The former NXT Women’s Champion wrote:
