Bayley Praises Fellow WWE Star As “The Best” To Ever Wrestle

Bayley & Sasha Banks

WWE Superstar Bayley had nothing but high praise for her fellow Grand Slam Champion.

In a special WWE 2K23 Roster Ratings Reveal edition of Up Up Down Down, Bayley was happy to hear she received a 91 rating in the upcoming video game before looking at the ratings for the entire WWE roster.

She joined host Xavier Woods, fellow Damage CTRL member Dakota Kai, Big E and former WWE Superstar Tyler Breeze for the ratings reveal. Upon reaching one of the Role Model’s greatest opponents, Asuka, she spoke highly about the Empress of Tomorrow.

“She’s just the best. If I were to choose, she should be at a 95. She’s the best. She’s been doing this for so long and consistent and can do it better than any of us could ever dream of. She’s never slowed down. Even when she’s hurt she’s like, ‘I’m fine,’ and I see her limping and I’m like, ‘No, you’re not’. She’s incredible and she’s constantly evolving.“

Bayley And Asuka Are Both WWE Grand Slam Champions

Bayley and Asuka are longtime rivals. Going all the way back to their NXT days the two have had many great battles throughout their time in WWE.

Asuka defeated the Hugger to kick off her record-setting 510-day reign as NXT Women’s Champion. Upon reaching the main roster both stars then captured the Raw and SmackDown Women’s titles and the Tag Team Championships making them both Grand Slam Champions.

Bayley is the first female Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion while Asuka is the only woman to hold the tag team titles with three different partners. Asuka won the titles with Kiari Sane, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

Asuka recently defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Carmella, Natalya and Nikki Cross inside the Elimination Chamber. The victory saw her become the number-one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship and face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39.

As WrestleMania approaches, Bayley is focused on performing at the Hollywood supershow. Having missed the two previous mega events the leader of Damage CTRL has challenged another of her longtime rivals, Friday Night SmackDown commentator Micheal Cole to a match at WWE’s flagship spectacular.
