Following the WWE release of Tyler Breeze, Bayley has paid tribute to the former NXT Tag Team Champion.
Breeze signed with WWE in 2010, initially appearing in developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling which later became NXT.
After adopting the persona of an arrogant ‘pretty boy’ Breeze became a mainstay of the black and gold brand, memorably taking on Jushin Thunder Liger at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The Canadian star graduated to the main roster in 2015 before teaming up with Fandango a year later. The team of Breezango would stay together until the pair were released on June 25th.
Bayley later paid tribute to Breeze, revealing that she used to write “what would Breeze do” on her wrist for matches to help guide her in the ring.
Breeze spent so much time teaching me things in the ring, watching my matches, little details, character work, (and later teaching me in LIFE) that I would literally write WHAT WOULD BREEZE DO on my wrist for my matches. pic.twitter.com/GVbLfk2qk2
