Bayley Outlines Major WWE Goal For 2025

Bayley Outlines Ambitious WWE Goal For 2025

WWE star Bayley has elaborated on what she hopes to accomplish in 2025.

Despite being one of the most experienced wrestlers in the women’s locker room, the SmackDown star has had one of her biggest years in the company in 2024. Beginning the year by winning the Women’s Royal Rumble and setting a new record for the longest time in the match, Bayley finally got her first singles match at WrestleMania 40. Looking to make it a night to remember, Bayley defeated former ally Iyo Sky in one of the best matches of the weekend to become the new Women’s Champion and hold the title until SummerSlam.

Although the former Women’s Champion achieved success in the ring over the past year, Bayley is now looking to make an impact behind the scenes. Appearing on The Five Count, the SmackDown star is hoping to be a driving force to elevate the women’s division:

“I have to think about that myself. When I came back from injury in 2022, or the end of 2021, my main goal was not to become a champion again. I felt that I had already gotten that out of my system and accomplished a bunch of title runs. I really just wanted to see the women that I was with succeed, which were IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. Just be that leader that can push them in the right direction or be a foundation of where they started on SmackDown. From that, I really learned how much I enjoyed helping younger talent.

For me, 2025 can be more of a leadership role. Not that I’m going to be out of the ring, but my goal is more bigger picture type things where I want to see the women’s division keep continuing the success that we’ve had these last few years and really start to take over and main event more shows, sell out more merch, and keep getting big. Wherever I can fit in on that, I’ll do my best at.”

In another interview, Bayley has explained why she did not appear on the December 6th edition of WWE SmackDown.

Bayley Viewed As True Locker Room Leader By Top Star

A part of the company for 12 years, the former Women’s Champion has achieved just about every accolade there is to obtain in WWE and has been an integral part of the women’s division’s growth over the past few years. In a recent interview, Cody Rhodes named Bayley among the locker room leaders in WWE.

Recently Bayley criticised WWE for leaving her off of a poster for an upcoming live show tour.
