Bayley Has Revealed Her Favorite Thing About The ‘Triple H Era’ In WWE

Bayley Triple H TakeOver Respect

Bayley has revealed her favorite thing about the Triple H era in WWE.

Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon resigned from his position in June 2022 following an investigation related to hush money allegations. He again returned in January 2023 and was reportedly involved in Finn Balor’s controversial WrestleMania 39 loss. However, it was Triple H who completely took over the promotion’s creative department upon McMahon’s retirement in 2022.

Despite McMahon’s brief return in early 2023, fans have mostly loved The Game’s work and have repeatedly praised how different the promotion and product have been under his supervision. The latter portion of McMahon’s creative tenure was marked by significant negative fan response, especially during the company’s 2019 creative slump.

Following widespread fan acclaim for Triple H’s innovative booking style and fresh storylines, former champion Bayley also joined in. During a recent Q&A session on X(Twitter), a fan asked the former Damage CTRL member about her “fav thing/moment of the Triple H Era”, to which she answered:

“Change.”

Last year, The Role Model won the 2024 Royal Rumble and defeated Iyo Sky for the championship at WrestleMania 40. Earlier this year, she competed for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Vengeance Day, and was a part of the 2025 Elimination Chamber. She is also scheduled to compete for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship soon.

Bayley Once Opened Up About Her Heel Turn

A few years ago, Bayley shocked the world when she destroyed her “hugger” gimmick, and embraced her darker side. Despite a warm welcome on the main roster, her babyface character began to grow stale and lacked the touch of freshness. As fans slowly started losing interest in her gimmick, the promotion did the unthinkable and turned her heel.

The brand-new gimmick and edge added a new layer to her character, earning back the fan’s interest. However, during an interview with The Pro Wrestling Experience, Bayley claimed that she lost her connection with the fans after turning heel.
