Bayley thinks the Four Horsewomen Fatal-4-Way match that happened at NXT TakeOver: Rival is something fans want to see again at WrestleMania.
Many WWE fans consider the Four Horsewomen to be four of the greatest female competitors to have ever stepped foot in the company. Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch have all achieved heights many before their time only dreamed of.
Fans of the four women may remember their Fatal-4-Way clash at NXT TakeOver: Rival in 2015. Although Banks walked away with the win and the NXT Women’s Championship, the match would become a snapshot of the future for the women’s division.
While speaking on the In the Kliq podcast, Bayley discussed whether the Fatal-4-Way Four Horsewomen match could happen again on a much grander stage, WrestleMania.
“I think that’s always been something that the fans would want to see for sure,” Bayley said. “We did that in ‘NXT’ at [‘NXT’ TakeOver: Rival], that was when Sasha won the title and I think after that night we were just like, ‘Whoa, we can do this at WrestleMania.’
“So that has been a goal of ours for a long time, it’s a goal of mine, I don’t know how they feel about it now. I don’t see why not, everything we’ve done hasn’t been done in the past and exceeded everyone’s expectations so I don’t see why it wouldn’t happen someday in the future. Could be WrestleMania 50, could be WrestleMania 75, could be next WrestleMania, who knows.”
Bayley perhaps could be walking into next year’s WrestleMania as champion. The leader of Damage CTRL is set to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules. The former NXT Champion is the only Four Horsewoman wrestling on TV. right now.
