Bayley still has goals left that she wants to achieve in WWE.
Shortly before Christmas, it was reported that the former WWE Champion had signed a new deal with the company. Speaking with Cageside Seats, the Damage CTRL leader has stated that while there are other companies she could compete in, she wants to do all she can to cross off the goals on her WWE checklist:
“There’s so much I wanna do for the wrestling world. Of course there are other places that I can do that and give what I have, but to me, the dream from when I was 10 years old was to do [‘this’ several times over] and all with WWE. I haven’t done all those things. I don’t wanna walk away without doing the things that I said I was gonna do, or at least giving 150% of me trying to get those things done,”
Multiple big names in the women’s division have also signed new deals including Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega.
Bayley Hopeful For 2024 Royal Rumble Win
One goal that the SmackDown star has yet to accomplish is to win the Women’s Royal Rumble. Having entered the match 4 times previously, the Dmage CTRL leader is hopeful that the 5th time will be different. Continuing the interview, the former Women’s Champion explained that the Royal Rumble victory would be a dream come true, as would a singles match at WrestleMania:
“Everybody knows that when you win the Royal Rumble, you get to point at the sign and the fireworks go off. That’s the stuff you dream about. I’m excited to feel that. I wanna feel that and I wanna get that singles match at WrestleMania,”
Looking ahead to WrestleMania, Bayley already has a dream match in mind for the event.
