Bayley has issued a special request to Triple H. She wants to participate in the first-ever all women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Taking to Twitter to announce her request, the former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion said:

Four teams have so far been announced for the tournament which kicks off on NXT on January 20th. Kacey Catanzaro and Kayden Carter will be in the tournaments opening match as they face Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez. The other two teams announced thus far are Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon, as well as Candice LeRae and her protege, Indi Hartwell.
Bayley has been successful in tag team action before. She is a former 2 time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside former best friend Sasha Banks. The team’s second reign ending at the Payback event in August 2020 where they lost the titles to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
Bayley has recently revived her short-lived NXT partnership with Carmella. ‘Bay-Mella’ defeated Bianca Belair and current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks, on the New Year’s Day edition of SmackDown.
Whether Bayley is granted her wish to return to NXT to take part in the ‘Dusty Cup’ remains to be seen. However, with only four teams announced so far for the tournament there are still plenty of places to be had.
