Batista Offers Huge Cash Reward To Catch Person Who Cruelly Attacked Manatee

Former WWE Champion Batista has offered up a huge cash reward for whoever catches the culprit of a cruel and malicious attack on a manatee.

Batista, also known as Dave Bautista, has taken to Twitter to respond to the story that saw an apparent Donald Trump supporter viciously carve the word “Trump” into the back of the mammal, which was discovered in Florida’s Homosassa River on Sunday, January 10 – offering up $20,000 for whoever catches the culprit.

“If there’s not already a reward for the arrest and conviction of the low life scummy MAGATs that did this I’ll throw in $20,000. And I promise there will be bonuses to that reward!”

Thankfully, the animal didn’t appear to be seriously injured aside from the visible lacerations, which actually appeared to have been carved into the algae on its back as opposed to its skin, but officials have launched an investigation.

The authorities had already offered a $5,000 reward for anyone with information leading them to the culprit, but Batista – who was scheduled to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020, which sadly didn’t take place – hasn’t just doubled that, he’s quadrupled it and added it to the pot.

Harassing a manatee is a federal crime and is punishable by a $50,000 fine and up to one year in prison.
