Former WWE Superstar Barry Horowitz is in line for a massive pat on the back as he gets set to take on an AEW star in his return to the ring for the first time in 8 years.
Barry Horowitz will be a familiar name to fans of the World Wrestling Federation in the late eighties and mid-nineties. The Floridian had two runs with the company where he was mainly used as enhancement talent helping elevate the promotion’s star attractions. The master of the self-back pat’s most notable victory in the company when the ultimate underdog defeated Bodydonna Skip at SummerSlam 1995.
Horowitz then wrestled for WCW for several years and maintained a regular presence on the independent scene until 2003. A decade later, Horowitz returned to action before seemingly hanging up his boots for good. Until now.
WrestlePro is hosting Rock And Roll Forever on March 13th in Rahway, New Jersey that will see Barry Horowitz take on AEW star Joey Janela.
AEW is well represented on the show as Jay Lethal goes one on one with Kevin Matthews, Tony Nese takes on Bobby Wayward, and WP Tag Team Champions Bear Country take on wrestling legends, The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express.
In June 2021, Barry Horowitz discussed how he felt he had been disrespected by NXT and the brand’s head coach, Matt Bloom.
