Barbed Wire Coffin Death Match Set For DDT’s Day Dream Believer

DDT Pro Wrestling today held a press conference in which they unveiled plans for the Ultimate Tag League 2021, as well as contract signings for the two singles title matches scheduled for their forthcoming show, Day Dream Believer.

Whilst the face off between DDT Universal Champion Yuki Ueno and his challenger Yusuke Okada remained cordial throughout, the same could not be said for the DDT Extreme Championship’s participants.

With DDT having announced the match stipulation between champion Shunma Katsumata and his challenger, Chris Brookes, to be a Barbed Wire Coffin Death Match, Shunma appeared clad in Joker-esqe facepaint.

Ahead of previous weapon-based bouts, Shunma has used the joker paint to step into a more dangerous mindset.

This persona carried through to the press conference, as Shunma shot a confetti cannon at an unwitting Brookes, before aiming a kick below the belt of the British competitor.

Shunma put an explanation point on his attack by firing several party poppers directly into Brookes’ mouth at point blank range.
