Former Ring of Honor Champion Bandido has reportedly agreed to a deal that will see the star become All Elite as part of the AEW roster.
The last few months have been tumultuous ones in AEW with the MJF saga dragging over the summer leading to his return at All Out, which then itself was overshadowed by the backstage fight involving CM Punk, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. All four men were stripped of their respective AEW titles and are currently still suspended by the company.
Fightful Select has reported that there is now some good news for AEW with former Ring of Honor Champion Bandido seemingly agreeing to terms to sign with the company. Bandido competed on Dynamite on September 28th as he challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH Title in a losing effort.
The signing has not been confirmed by AEW at this time but sources close to Bandido are the ones to say that a deal has been reached between the two parties.
Bandido captured the ROH World Championship in July 2021 from another recent AEW signee – RUSH. The 27-year-old had to vacate the title when he contracted COVID-19 and had to pull out of a defence of his belt against Jonathan Gresham. The two men met to crown an Undisputed ROH World Champion at Supercard of Honor in April 2022 – the first ROH show held under the ownership of AEW President, Tony Khan.
