Bad Bunny In Talks For WrestleMania 37 Appearance

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE are currently in negotiations with music artist, Bad Bunny, for further appearances including a clash at WrestleMania.

At the Royal Rumble on January 31, Bunny appeared alongside former five time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, to perform his song of the same name. However, it was what occurred later in the broadcast that got people talking and WWE creative thinking.

Backstage, Bunny came face-to-face with The Miz and John Morrison who proposed a collaboration with the star which was turned down when Booker T caught them trashing his name and reputation. Following the oration, Miz destroyed the artist’s set upon his entry into the Royal Rumble Match which caused the rapper to make an appearance, cause a distraction which led to the pair’s elimination and nail both men with a dive from the top rope.

The following night on Monday Night Raw, Bunny appeared with Damian Priest and cost The Miz his bout with the latest NXT call-up when Mr. Money in the Bank became distracted by the songsmith knocking John Morrison out.

Now, according to the report by PWInsider, WWE are looking to capitalise on that by having Bad Bunny involved at WrestleMania 37 with a view to him competing on the two night event in order for the promotion to capitalise on the mainstream crossover attention that he brings to the product.

With this news comes a little fantasy booking about who the star would battle, most likely in tag team action. Currently, the most likely scenario appears to be Bad Bunny and Damian Priest or Booker T vs. The Miz and John Morrison.
