With the news that Vince McMahon has retired a huge meeting has been scheduled within WWE to discuss the announcement.
On July 22nd, Vince McMahon announced that he was retiring as WWE CEO and Chairman of the Board. McMahon had already voluntarily stepped down from both positions in June, with his daughter Stephanie McMahon assuming the roles on a temporary basis.
Stephanie has since been made CEO and Chairwoman alongside co-CEO Nick Khan.
Following the news a company wide meeting was scheduled, which was described by Fightful Select as “all hands on deck.”
It has since bene reported by Bryan Alvarez that “nothing of note happened at the meeting.”
So apparently nothing of note happened at the meeting. Just a note that he was gone and now back to work.

The report from Fightful also noted that there have been “heavy moves” made within WWE and more were expected. One talent who spoke to Fightful expressed their surprise as they had expected McMahon to be at the helm until he died.
Vince McMahon initially stepped down from his duties as CEO and Chairman in June following allegations that he paid a former employee $3 million in “hush money” after the pair had an affair. More allegations have since been made public, including claims that McMahon paid four women more than $12 million across 16 years as part of similar agreements.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Brock Lesnar has walked out of the upcoming SmackDown taping. The Beast was said to be “p*ssed off.”
