Another major announcement is on the way from AEW President Tony Khan on the April 5th episode of Dynamite.
Fresh off the back of the launch of the new reality show AEW All Access, it seems that more news is on the way. There is no word on the specifics of the announcement but there has been speculation it could be linked to a new show, potentially launching in the next three months.
There have also been rumors that it could concern AEW’s planned trip to the United Kingdom. In recent weeks Khan has suggested that news on the show is coming soon.
These theories have been backed up by a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, via PWInsider Elite. Johnson notes that the announcement isn’t storyline or talent-related.
“The word making the rounds with AEW is that Tony Khan’s announcement Wednesday is not a “storyline” or talent announcement.”
Meanwhile, Tony Khan has been in full hype mode in the lead-up to his announcement. In a post on social media, Khan said the show and the show and announcement will be one of the most important ever.
Tomorrow live on TBS,

Tony Khan Refuses To Rule Out Deal For WWE Hall Of Famer
Although Tony Khan’s upcoming announcement might not be news of a new signing, that doesn’t mean he is against adding to his roster. Speaking after ROH Supercard of Honor, Khan said that former World Champion Goldberg could be an “interesting” acquisition. The WWE Hall of Famer has been a free agent since the turn of the year after his contract with WWE expired. The WWE legend hasn’t wrestled since February 2022.
