Saraya is on her way back to AEW.
The British star has been absent from the company since teaming with Chris Jericho in defeat to Adam Cole and Britt Baker on the May 31st episode of Dynamite. After the match, Saraya disappeared and hasn’t featured at any tapings since.
Dave Meltzer recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the star was missing due to “undisclosed reasons,” and there was no confirmation about when she would be back.
However, Fightful Select has reported that she will be back with AEW “imminently.” The company is heading to the Wintrust Arena in Chicago on June 21st for Dynamite and then on to Toronto, Canada for Collision and Forbidden Door on the 24th and 25th.
Although Saraya might be involved, it has been reported that Kenny Omega won’t be, at least in person. The former AEW World Champion is due to miss Dynamite and Collision ahead of his clash with Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door.
Saraya Linked With Huge Match Against Mercedes Mone
Prior to Mercedes Mone suffering an ankle injury in a match against Willow Nightingale, there had been talk of a match between the star and Saraya at Forbidden Door. While no agreement had been reached, a match had been discussed.
Dave Meltzer noted that All In at Wembley Stadium in August would be the perfect place for Mone to make her AEW debut if she has recovered from her ankle problem.
