As part of the WWE Draft, a total of nine Superstars went undrafted and were declared free agents.
The biggest of these free agents is Brock Lesnar, while he was joined on that list by Mustafa Ali, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, and more. You can find the full list below.
- Brock Lesnar
- Baron Corbin
- Xyon Quinn
- Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin
- Dolph Ziggler
- Mustafa Ali
- Von Wagner
In years past these free agents have usually been assigned to brands in the days after the Draft, however in 2023, things are working a little differently. A new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, via PWInsider Elite, stated that none of the free agents have been assigned to brands, which will leave them free to move wherever creative needs them.
Brock Lesnar Heading To WWE Night Of Champions
The biggest name on the free agent list is undoubtedly Brock Lesnar, although Mustafa Ali has continued to feature on Raw and Baron Corbin on SmackDown.
Shortly after WrestleMania 39, The Beast set his sights on Cody Rhodes and the pair met in a bloody bout at Backlash. However, despite dominating much of the match he was defeated by Rhodes who scored a flash pin while still trapped in a Kimura Lock. Unsurprisingly, Lesnar didn’t take the defeat well.
On the following episode of Raw, the former World Champion made a shock appearance to cost Rhodes his match in the World Heavyweight Title tournament. Lesnar brutally attacked the American Nightmare, hitting an F-5 on the floor, before delivering another on the announce table.
With Rhodes laying broken, Lesnar screamed down the camera and his rival, challenging him to a fight at Night of Champions. Later in the night, Rhodes accepted against his better judgement.
