A new report has provided an update on the status of a WWE Superstar who hasn’t been seen on TV for several weeks.
Following months of vignettes teasing his arrival on Raw, Veer Mahaan finally appeared on the red brand in April 2022 when he attacked Dominik and Rey Mysterio and established himself as a monster heel.
The star then went on a winning streak which included defeating both Mysterios individually as well as Mustafa Ali. However, after taking part in a Last Chance Money In The Bank Battle Royal on June 27th, Mahaan disappeared from Raw.
Since then, he has made a single appearance to make quick work of Beaux Keller on August 15th, but aside from that, his much-heralded return appears to have fizzled out.
Now, Fightful Select has offered an update on Veer Mahaan’s status that indicate he could be gone from our screens for some time, noting that there are no “imminent plans” for the star.
Veer Mahaan joined WWE in 2018, initially working on the NXT roster. While there, he formed one half of the Indus Sher tag team alongside Saurav.
The pair had a successful run before Mahaan was called up to the main roster in June 2021. On Raw, he aligned himself with Jinder Mahal and Shanky, forming a heel stable.
However, a few months later, Shanky and Mahal were drafted to SmackDown, leaving Veer as a singles wrestler on the red brand.
