Triple H is set to make an announcement on WWE Raw, and a new report gives a glimpse as to what the announcement could entail.
The Game took over both talent relations and creative operations duties as Chief Content Officer in the wake of Vince McMahon’s short-lived retirement in July, and in recent weeks he’s made his presence known on both Raw and SmackDown.
On the same day it was announced that WWE would be merging with UFC to form a new $21+ billion entity under parent company Endeavor, Triple H appeared on Monday Night Raw with the defiant message that WWE wasn’t going anywhere.
On the April 7th episode of SmackDown, he revealed that the WWE Draft would be taking place once again and would begin on April 28th.

Now, reports indicate that he will once again be appearing on the red brand, with WRKD Wrestling noting that details of his upcoming appearance are being kept close to the vest backstage.

An update from Fightful Select confirmed that those backstage are buzzing with the possibility of an announcement, and the report shed some light on speculation surrounding Triple H’s Raw appearance. According to Fightful, talent backstage are speculating that the announcement could concern a new title belt, one that could be fully completed and unveiled as soon as tonight’s broadcast. There was no clarification as to whether the belt is a new design to replace one of WWE’s existing titles or whether it’s a new championship altogether.
WWE have not responded to Fightful’s inquiry into the situation.
