Backstage Report On Bryan Danielson’s AEW World Championship Win At All In

Bryan Danielson Explains Why AEW All In Will Be The Biggest Match Of His Career

A surprising report has emerged on Bryan Danielson’s AEW World title win at All In.

The main-event of All In 2024 witnessed Danielson defeating Swerve Strickland in a violent and bloody encounter. As Strickland tapped out to the LeBell lock, Danielson alongside his friends and family celebrated his first title victory in the promotion.

However, soon enough, Fightful Select dropped a surprising report on his title win. As per the report, the main-event bout of ‘Danielson vs Strickland’ was confirmed by April this year. Despite his existing injuries, the newly crowned champion was always expected to work in London.

While it was earlier reported that Danielson was always against winning a title in AEW, he had to ultimately give in this time.

Tony Khan was reportedly adamant about Danielson winning the gold and wanted the closing moment of All In as Danielson celebrating with his title belt. Will Ospreay was also pitched for a match against Strickland, but was ruled out stating, “Ospreay will have chances to main event Wembley for years to come.”

There are no current updates on Danielson’s future as a champion. However, it was earlier noted that he wanted to repair his neck and spend time with his family, while also contributing towards the success of All Elite Wrestling.

Reports On Bryan Danielson’s Future

In an earlier report from Sean Ross Sapp’s FIghtful Select, Danielson was noted working with Khan’s promotion without a contract. He was also reportedly continuing his work in the disciplinary committee.

It further suggested that The American Dragon is willing to continue his services in AEW once he finishes his in-ring career. Extremely well-liked over at WWE, the report also hinted at Bryan Danielson’s return there.

Speaking at the press conference after the victory, Bryan Danielson addressed what’s next.
