Triple H has been named as WWE’s new Head of Creative, with the backstage reaction to this being that of “general excitement”.
The real-life Paul Levesque is now in charge of WWE from a creative standpoint, taking over from Vince McMahon following his retirement last Friday. Per Fightful Select, WWE talent and personnel are said to be thrilled with ‘The Game’ in charge.
The report indicates that “concerns were raised” when Bruce Prichard was temporarily placed in charge of creative. Prichard had already been made the temporary Head of Talent Relations when John Laurinaitis was removed from the position, which put some talent on edge, as it meant they’d have to ask the man behind creative for time off.
It’s not just those within WWE who are hopeful with Triple H in charge of the pen; a source from USA Network reportedly told Fightful that “this is an exciting change”.
Proud and honored to work with the best talent in the world. https://t.co/polNi8n87C

Triple H was previously in a similar position when he ran the NXT brand before it transitioned into NXT 2.0. He was consistently praised throughout this run for his dedication to character progression and long-term storytelling, raising the stock of countless talent synonymous with the former black-and-gold brand.
This marks the second promotion for ‘The King of Kings’ in a matter of days, following his promotion to WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations on Friday, prior to Vince McMahon stepping back from his WWE executive duties.
