New update has emerged on the Charlotte Flair-Tiffany Stratton segment.
Last night, during the 4th April episode of SmackDown, fans witnessed a heated promo battle between Stratton and her challenger, Flair. At WrestleMania 41, The Queen is set to challenge Stratton for her Women’s Championship. However, chasing her 15th World title, things soon started going awry between the two.
While Stratton maintained her popularity amongst the Chicago crowd, Flair was overtaken by the loud boos during her time. Soon, things turned hotter when both women went off-script and started taking personal jabs at each other. Their segment was filled with several awkward moments, including swears, and personal comments.
Recently, almost a day after the episode, Fightful Select shared the backstage reaction to the entire scenario. While the report could not “outright” confirm if the two stars went off-script, it claimed that almost everyone who watched it believed the segment was not supposed to go down that way.

Although there was no altercation backstage, Flair was not pleased. As per the report, several talents on the roster stated that Flair is known for calling audibles on promos and spots in the ring. Further, two other talents also noted that Tiffany Stratton had to “fight back” after their previous promo, where Flair had seemingly taken control over.
Another longtime WWE talent claimed that going against Charlotte Flair can be daunting. Another woman believed that Stratton was doing what she had to do. One source close to the champion claimed that it was Flair who went off-script first, and then Stratton had fought back.
The claim suggested that rolling out of the ring after mentioning the marriage line was an attempt to prevent the situation from escalating. It’s believed that tensions had been building for some time, leading up to this moment. According to Fightful Select, the promotion’s management was not happy with either of them.
Ludwig Kaiser Responds To Charlotte Flair’s ‘DM’ Claims
Moments after Flair and Stratton’s verbal spat on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton’s real-life partner, Ludwig Kaiser, decided to open up on social media. The concluding moments of their promo saw Stratton take a dig at Flair’s three divorces. It was followed up by Charlotte Flair yelling,
“Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?”
However, handling the situation wittily, Kaiser responded on X(Twitter) with a video of Shawn Michaels telling Diana Smith:
“Please do not flatter yourself.”
