If fans say his name, will Joe Hendry appear as an entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble match?
Fans are once again looking ahead to the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on February 1st in Indianapolis, Indiana. With John Cena, CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre among entrants already confirmed to be a part of the match, the line-up is already looking stacked with multiple stars having a strong case to emerge the last man standing.
Along with the big names already confirmed, fans are hoping to see some surprise appearances in the match with Hendry being at the top of many wish lists.
With TNA star Jordynne Grace entering the Women’s match in 2024 and the relationship between both sides ongoing, there is a high expectation that Hendry will be one of the participants for the Men’s Rumble. However, for those waiting to hear the viral entrance music, they may be disappointed.
Discussing Hendry’s possible Royal Rumble appearance on the Backstage Pass podcast, WrestleVotes stated that they have not heard any discussions regarding the TNA star being a part of the match and does not expect to see the Scottish star make an appearance:
“No. Nothing I have heard; not to say that’s not gonna happen. I think we spoke about this on the on the show before. He’s kind of cooled a little bit. Maybe that’s by design, but that wouldn’t make any sense to me. So I don’t expect him to be one of one of the 30 in the Rumble; no!”
It should be noted that although Hendry has been announced as being part of Chris Jericho’s cruise, the TNA star has clarified that his dates are from February 2nd-4th, meaning that he is available on the day of the show.
Recently Matt Cardona made his TNA return.
Joe Hendry Looking To Finally Win TNA World Championship
Unable to capture the World Championship in 2024, Hendry has one more opportunity to become the top star in TNA as he will once again challenge Nic Nemeth for the title at the Genesis pay-per-view on January 19th.
In a recent interview, a TNA star said that Joe Hendry should win the title at Genesis.
In other news, WWE are hoping to get an injured star back in time for WrestleMania.
