A new report has claimed that an NXT Tag Team could be on their way to the main roster.
Following Solo Sikoa’s move to Friday Night SmackDown it has now been reported that two more NXT Superstars could be on their way to the main roster.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has noted that there has been talk of Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne being called-up.
“There has at least been talk of Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne moving to the main roster. It’s been talked about for a while.”
The duo began teaming together in July when they aligned with Mandy Rose to create Toxic Attraction. The pair went on to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles twice, while Rose continues to reign supreme as NXT Women’s Champion.
Dolin and Jayne made their first main roster appearance on the August 19th edition of SmackDown when they took part in the first round of the Women’s Tag Team Title tournament. Although the pair were victorious they were unable to compete in the next round after Dolin sustained a concussion.
The Toxic Attraction duo wrestled on the blue brand once more on September 9th when they were defeated by Aliyah and Raquel Gonzalez. The match should have taken place weeks before, but Dolin’s injury caused a change of plans.
Despite their appearances on the main roster both Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are still listed as NXT Superstars on WWE.com.
