Recently released WWE Superstar B-Fab has given her opinion on WWE contracts, saying that she doesn’t know how they can even be called contracts.
B-Fab was previously a part of Hit Row alongside Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, Top Dolla, and Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, making their name as a foursome on NXT. Following the WWE Draft in October the group were all drafted to SmackDown but their time on the blue brand was cut drastically short.
B-Fab was the first member of the group given their release from the company on November 4th, with the other three members of the group part of the next round of roster cuts just eleven days later.
During a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest B-Fab discussed her thoughts on WWE contracts and how the uncertainty around them stops you from being able to plan for the future:
“It’s a sad situation because I don’t even know if you could call it a contract. Most contracts have to be worked through until they’re finished. So with them being able to terminate whenever, it’s more in the lines of an agreement these days. If you want to live your life, you can’t put your life onto this agreement because they can change whenever they want.”
“So it’s kind of hard for you to do life and plan for you when you don’t know what could happen from day-to-day. It’s not as secure, it’s a very scary situation to put yourself in. If you’re putting your all into that and you really want that, just like all of us, me included. It’s very difficult to say if it’s even worth it.”
