Former WWE Champion has opened up after Logan Paul elimination.
Entering as the 21st entrant in the match, AJ Styles made his much-awaited return after almost three months. Coming back to the promotion since his reported injury against Carmelo Hayes in October, Styles’ Rumble dream fell short.
Lasting around 21 minutes and eliminating LA Knight in the match, fans witnessed Paul eventually eliminate The Phenomenal One. Speaking to Cathy Kelley after the match in a digital exclusive, AJ Styles shared his thoughts about being eliminated by Paul.
Labeling this as a shameful accolade, Styles found satisfaction in one unique thing. As not the only star to be eliminated by Paul, a satisfied Styles commented:
“I’ll never live that down, getting eliminated by Logan Paul. At least I’m not alone in the shame, but you know what? I got out there and I did what I needed to do. I stayed long there, was in there with the big dogs, and I held my ground.
Unfortunately, I didn’t see the one coming behind me, who apparently jumped on the table, scaffold hi s way back over to the steps and caught me off guard. But this is the WWE. You will lose. You will win. Accept it. Move on. Next Big Thing.”
Paul Heyman Has Commented On Seth Rollins’ WWE Royal Rumble Outburst
Moments after getting eliminated, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins got into a heated battle at ringside. Dropping Reigns with two stomps outside the squared circle, Rollins and Punk also got involved in a surprising brawl.
Sharing a post on X(Twitter), Paul Heyman addressed Seth Rollins’ indecent behavior and threats. He said:
“One could read this post as @PatMcAfeeShow calling @WWERollins an A-HOLE. Considering Mr. Rollins’ actions last night at @WWE #RoyalRumble, I would suggest Mr. Rollins’ lack of anger management has been provoked enough!”
