WWE and NXT Superstar, Arturo Ruas, has undergone a successful surgery to repair his damaged arm.
The Brazilian took to Twitter on December 5 in order to show off his bandaged shoulder which hides the wounds of war. Along with the photo, Ruas posted the message:
“The surgery was successful, not it’s time to heal and come back stronger. For a warrior there will only be victory with a good fight and glory with honor. #beastmode #healing #champion #wwe #wwenxt #meteamao #technique.”

Ruas suffered the injury on the November 18 edition of NXT when he battled Kushida in his return to the brand. During the bout, there was notable damage to the left shoulder of the star even though the wound was initially said to be a torn triceps.
Once a highlight of Raw Underground thanks to his martial arts and jiu jitsu background, Arturo Ruas was initially traded to Monday Night Raw in the 2020 WWE Draft but ended up being sent back to NXT several weeks after the brand shake-up.
There were huge plans in place for Ruas on Wednesday nights, with Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noting in November that prior to his bout with ‘The Time Splitter’, the star had filmed several vignettes and angles for the subsequent weeks.
