On the March 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite, one quarter of the legendary stable The Four Horsemen, Tully Blanchard will make his in-ring return.
The former NWA and WWF tag team champion is set to join forces with FTR to take on the Jurassic Express. The six-man tag team match will mark the first time Blanchard has appeared in active competition since 2007, and his first outing for notable promotion since 1997.
As the wrestling world waits with baited breath to see the veteran in action, Blanchard’s former tag team partner Arn Anderson has offered his thoughts on his friend’s return. Posting on Twitter, Anderson called the return “the way the business is supposed to be.”

Arn Anderson knows all about Blanchard’s skills inside the ring as the pair won the NWA World Tag Team Titles twice and the WWF World Tag Team Titles once during a short stay in the promotion. The team competing as the ‘Brain Busters’ famously ended Demolition’s record breaking 478 day reign atop the WWF’s tag team division.
However, Blanchard’s stay in the WWF was cut short after failing a drugs test, where he tested positive for cocaine prior to the 1989 Survivor Series.
Tully Blanchard has appeared in AEW since 2019, where he serves as a manager to Shawn Spears and more recently FTR.
Following his departure from WWE in 2019 Anderson wasn’t out of the wrestling spotlight for long as he too signed a deal with AEW. He regularly appears on Dynamite as Cody Rhodes personal advisor and head coach.
