Scarlett Bordeaux is no stranger to drawing ire from WWE fans, often interfering on behalf of her partner Karrion Kross and causing outrage when she helps him cheat to win. However, one fan took things too far when he threw a drink onto Scarlett during a WWE live event in Peoria, IL.
During the match in question, Karrion Kross was facing Drew McIntyre in a continuation of their ongoing feud on WWE SmackDown. While the referee’s back was turned, Scarlett Bordeaux slapped McIntyre, causing outrage from the crowd in attendance. One woman in the crowd was especially angry and threw an entire plastic cup of an alcoholic drink on the valet.
Security immediately checked on Scarlett as well as ejecting the woman and her family. The police were called following the incident, but according to PWInsider, there was no physical altercation between the two women and Scarlett Bordeaux got right back to work after security checked on her.
The Peoria Civic Center Issued An Official Statement Following Scarlett Bordeaux’s Unfortunate Fan Interaction
After the unfortunate incident that took place in their venue, the Peoria Civic Center issued a statement to local news outlet WMBD, calling the incident a “brief distraction” that was handled properly by security and law enforcement.
“We are aware of the incident that took place at the WWE event on Saturday, November 12. Fortunately, our Peoria Civic Center security team along with the Peoria Police quickly identified the individuals responsible and escorted them out of the building for the remainder of the show. While we were disappointed in the actions of a couple and the brief distraction they caused, over 4,000 enthusiastic WWE fans were treated to a very entertaining event.”
Peoria Police told WMBD that no charges were filed after the incident and no arrests were made.
Scarlett Bordeaux also took to social media to respond to the incident and call out the fan who doused her with a drink, taking aim at the city of Peoria as compared to Chicago in the process.
“As a classy woman from Chicago, I’m not surprised that something like this would happen in Peoria. PS. To the granny who threw the drink, your booze was as cheap as your hairdo.”

Scarlett, alongside Karrion Kross, returned to WWE on the August 5 Friday Night SmackDown, having initially been cut from the sports entertainment giant the prior November. ‘The Smokeshow’ had been absent from Kross’ side during his first stint on the main roster, an aspect that WWE’s new management regime was quick to rectify the second time around.
