Although WrestleMania 39 is just around the corner, WWE appears to be throwing a considerable amount of time, energy, and resources into Elimination Chamber on February 18th.

It has already been announced that there will be two Elimination Chamber matches with title implications, while Edge and Beth Phoenix will be teaming up to take on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. The show will also feature Sami Zay challenging for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion his hometown of Montreal, Canada.

There is also the possibility of a third showdown between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. A contract signing for the bout has been announced for the February 13th episode of Raw.

It has now been reported that the event could also see two WWE Hall of Famers return to the ring.

WWE Legend To Return To The Ring?

The report from WRKD Wrestling states that Becky Lynch will be teaming with Lita and Trish Stratus to take on Damage CTRL. Lita returned to WWE on the most recent episode of Raw where she came to help Lynchd defeat Bayley in a Steel Cage match after IYO SKY and Dakota Kai got involved. It was noted that Trish Stratus will be appearing on Raw on February 13th to set up the tag team match at Elimination Chamber.

Trish Stratus last appeared on Raw back in August in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. On that occasion, her promo was interrupted by Bayley and Damage CTRL. In a back-and-forth segment that also featured Bianca Belair, Stratus threatened to come out of retirement to face Bayley.

Trish Stratus brought down the curtain on her full-time career in 2006 before being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013. Despite hanging up her boots, the star has continued to wrestle occasionally with her most recent appearance coming at SummerSlam in 2019 where she lost to Charlotte Flair.

Lita most recently wrestled at Elimination Chamber in February 2022 where she lost out to Becky Lynch.
