Another WWE star set to appear at AAA TripleMania XXXIII.
Earlier this year, after Raw made its jump to Netflix, Corey Graves was snubbed as Raw’s main announcer and replaced with Pat McAfee alongside Michael Cole. While Graves vented his frustrations on social media, he was soon made a regular part of the NXT announcing team.
An extremely talented announcer, McAfee’s ongoing absence led to Graves coming back to Raw. The former pro-wrestler now serves as a vital part of the broadcasting team on both Raw and NXT. Earlier this year, Graves also had the opportunity to lead the English announcing team at the Worlds Collide event alongside Konnan.
PWInsider earlier reported that Graves is set to return to the same position again as the lead English announcer for TripleMania XXXIII.
TripleMania XXXIII is set to take place on August 16th at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
Several active World Wrestling Entertainment stars are also scheduled to be a part of the show, including El Grande Americano, Dominik Mysterio, Natalya, and many more.
Konnan Was All Praise For His WWE X AAA Worlds Collide Commentator Corey Graves
Following Corey Graves’ stint alongside Konnan on the Worlds Collide show, the WCW veteran heaped praise on Graves while speaking with Bill Apter.
He came pretty prepared. His brother wrestled in AAA. He did his due diligence. He came pretty prepared. So, I helped him with a couple of things. Not as much as you would think. He’s a very professional guy, and I’m glad I had him as a partner. He made it easy for me because I hadn’t done commentating in over ten years.”
